For more than 20 years, Ellen Parsley has brought a passionate Gospel ministry marked by signs and wonders to congregations across America and around the world. Her dynamic personal testimony has inspired untold thousands to live a life of holiness, and her unique ministry gift of the laying on of hands has touched multitudes with the anointing of the Holy Spirit as prophesied by Isaiah: “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing” (Isaiah 10:27).

Ellen Parsley 's unlikely story began in the coal camps of eastern Kentucky , where she grew up and started her family with her husband, James. The family's Christian faith sustained them through a debilitating heart attack she suffered at the age of 29 and a diagnosis of advanced breast cancer a few years later. Her experience with the instantaneous healing power of the Holy Spirit gave her and her entire family the supernatural faith to believe for the miraculous for those in need.

For more than 30 years, she has fulfilled an integral role in the ministries of her son, Dr. Rod Parsley, who began a Bible study in his parent's back yard in 1979 and built that gathering into one of America 's great local congregations, World Harvest Church of Columbus, Ohio. Ellen Parsley has played an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the church and each of its outreaches, which include a national Christian grassroots organization, a worldwide television broadcast, a missions organization, a Bible college, a Christian school, a ministerial fellowship an inner-city outreach and a Hispanic church. As senior executive vice president and business administrator of Rod Parsley Ministries, she sits on all of the ministries' governing boards of administrative and policy procedures.
