Healing Word International recognizes that as a church we have a cultural mandate to impact our society for Jesus. In order to care for people, train them, and successfully communicate the Gospel to them, we must make the voice of the church relevant; in this way the church will be heard. We proclaim Jesus and promote His ways in entertainment, political social, and economic issues, both nationally and internationally. We simply cannot ignore such social issues as pornography, abortion, and addictions. We are effecting change by supporting righteousness and providing a platform for our Christian voice to be heard. We also believe that the church must minister to the unemployed, the poor, and those in need. We do this by teaching them investment strategies, providing job placements and referrals, and supplying information on how to begin a business of their own. We also afford training in our arts department through a wonderful staff of instructors who teach our youth to worship God through dance, prophetic worship, mime, and drama. Instruction on a variety of musical instruments is also provided.
